Our Very Breathe Testifies to Our Maker
As I read one of may favorite blogs today, this quote resounded in my spirit so I thought I would share it with you.
“The letters of the name of God in Hebrew… are infrequently pronounced Yahweh. But in truth they are inutterable….
This word {YHWY} is the sound of breathing.
The holiest name in the world, the Name of Creator, is the sound of your own breathing. That these letters are unpronounceable is no accident. Just as it is no accident that they are also the root letters of the Hebrew verb ‘to be’… God’s name is name of Being itself.”

Bright and Morning Star
This morning, through the leafless branches in front of my bedroom window, I had an impeccable view of the morning star as the sun began to glow on the horizon.
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright morning star.” Rev 22:16
As I watched the sun illuminate the dark sky with light blue and then pink, this verse kept resounding in my mind. Jesus IS the bright and morning star. He is the Rock on which we build our lives and the guidepost which set our path after He does not leave nor forsake us. He is always there…even when we can’t see…he is there. He is an ever-present help in time of need. He is our Deliverer, Saviour, Brother, Friend and Redeemer.
I am thankful for the beauty of the morning star I marveled at today. It is only shadowed by the Majesty of a Saviour who left his rightful seat in Glory to live as a humble, yet perfect life on this Earth, to be tortured and crucified on a tree for all of humanity…just because he loves us so

A New and Fresh Beginning
I love the new year. I don’t make resolutions. I do pray and commit myself to the Lord afresh. His mercies are new everyday and His love never fails.
As the New Year approaches, I am continuing to pray for clear direction in many areas. I know that the Lord will be faithful. I know that as I put my hand to the plow, if it’s God’s plow, the work will not overtake me and I will find joy, peace and rest while carrying and walking out the burden Christ has laid on my heart.
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
What a beautiful picture! I want to live life in obedience to God…carrying His light load as he carries my cares and worries.
Happy New Year to you all! May your Year be FULL and INTENTIONAL!
